Welcome to the Church of the Holy Rood, Swinton in the Diocese of Manchester. Work began on the first church building on this site over 150 years ago, back in 1865.

Since then, Holy Rood Church and Memorial Hall have played a busy and active part in the life of the local community.

Today, there is lots happening in and around Holy Rood, with a whole range of social activities to suit all ages and interests, as well as chances to explore Christian faith and spirituality.
