Can you assit us with a few hours of time?
Christian Aid Week is seven amazing days of fundraising, campaigning and prayer. It unites 22,000 churches and involves 300,000 people in the UK’s biggest house-to-house collection.
It inspires hundreds of events, reaches millions of people with messages about poverty and empowers poor communities to change their lives forever.
These are words which should inspire us at Holy Rood to contribute our share towards making a difference; and, for many years now, Holy Rood has supported the cause.
Every year between 10 and 15 collectors go out into the parish and almost every year the sum collected is larger than before. Most of those collectors have been doing this for many years, and we really need new volunteers - the more there are the shorter the ‘round’ to cover. Can you give a couple of hours to deliver – and then collect the envelopes around the local area?
