Friday 16th November 7:30 pm
Saturday 17th November 2:15pm
This is an open invitation to one and all. Do please come along to our Christmas Fayre which will be held over the weekend of Friday 16th and Saturday 17th November.
As well as our traditional set up of market stalls selling a selection of home made cakes, pies, jams etc. together with cakes, groceries, pastries etc. there will also be a Tombola stall where you can try your luck at winning a prize as well as a bric-a-brac stall where you might even find a (more unusual) Christmas present. Father Christmas will be there in his grotto so why not pay him a visit to pass on your Christmas wish lists and letters? As you know he’ll do his best to see your wishes come true.
On Friday 16th hot food in the guise of traditional Lancashire Hot Pot or (Britain’s most popular dish) curry, will be also be available, followed by a Gaelic coffee if you wish. Or perhaps you’d rather not bother with the food and cut straight to the coffee! Feel free, after all it is meant to be a fun night. As you know there’s no such thing as a free lunch, or Christmas fayre for that matter, so there will be a small charge for food to cover our costs.
It’s a similar thing on the afternoon of Saturday 17th November. Please note however, that on Saturday there’s no hot food or Gaelic coffees available. Mind you if you’ve been on the Friday you might be grateful!
The fayre will be held in the Memorial Hall adjoining the church and there will be an admission fee of 30p per person. Do please come along and we hope to see you there.
