Holy Rood Easter Breakfast

EASTER SUNDAY 23rd MARCH 2008

Once again we will be holding a special event on Easter Sunday. You are all invited to 'Break the Fast' together after the Communion Service of March 23rd (Easter Sunday) in the Memorial Hall.

A full breakfast (6 items) with bread and butter, tea or coffee for £2.50 or a Breakfast 'Barm' with Tea or Coffee for £1.50

Obviously an event like this takes some planning and we will have to cater for this in advance. Please inform Joan Partington on 794 3282 if you would like tickets to join us.

The hall is all prepared whilst the the diners are in Church listening to the service.

OK. That's the first lot of sausages going into the oven in readiness to feed the hungary hoards who will be arriving soon.

Oh, and don't forget some eggs

Now of course, here's a couple of willing helpers, ready to serve the hungary hoards.

Here we go then, here's the first tranche coming through from the Church.

Ah, some very satisfied customers and look, their still queing!

"Right then. I'll make a start with the washing up. Now, where's that Brilo pad?"

Well, that's it for another year. These tins are off to be re-cycled and we're off for a well earned 'feet up' Sunday afternoon.
