The Ladies Group has a membership of about twenty-five, and meets in the evening every 2^nd and 4^th Tuesday of the month for talks, demonstrations, or just for a social evening.

Over the recent months, we have had quiz nights, games evenings, talks on make-up, handbags, hedgehogs, holidays and washdays. We made birthday cards and Christmas cards, had an evening out at the Theatre, and walked to a local pub for a meal. We have stalls at the Holy Rood Summer and Christmas fairs. In December we enjoy a Jacob’s supper, and in the New Year we treat ourselves to a meal out – this year to Smithalls.

Several of our members have been in the group since it was started over forty years ago, whilst others are relatively new. Any lady who would like to join us for a sociable evening twice a month would be made very welcome.
