The Moorside Memorial Hall was built in the 1920s, on the site of the former Holy Rood School.

The Hall is extremely well used by a diverse range of groups and people from the local community and is managed by the Parochial Church Council of Holy Rood Church and the activities that take place in the hall are open to all, whether regular worshippers at Holy Rood or not.
