Towards the Pulpit

This is the view as you enter the church from the main entrance, looking down the aisle towards the pulpit. The entrance to the Lady Chapel can just be seen on the extreme left of the picture.

To the left of the main arch is the carved wooden Eagle Pulpit. (Picture below)

Between the Eagle Pulpit and entrance to the Lady Chapel is our Book of Remembrance. (Picture below).

This is the inside of the church looking back from the pulpit, down the aisle, towards the main entrance.

 

The Lady Chapel

This is where we meet for the 8:00am Sunday Service, the Monday Morning Prayer and Tuesday Hour of Prayer sessions. The Lady Chapel is also where the Alpha Course and other such sessions are held.

 

The Eagle Lectern

The beautifuly carved wooden eagle lectern.

 

Our Book of Rememberance

For our dear departed loved ones. If you would like for someone's name to recorded within our book please contact the vicar or curate for more details.

The Christening Font

Located by the entrance to the Lady Chapel. The ornate wooden cover is carved with the words 'To the glory of God and in loving rememberence of Samuel Edward Grover who fell asleep on 21st Janury 1876 aged seven months.'

The base of the font is inscribed with the words 'In the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Ghost.'
