Sunday School
Holyrood Sunday School is a place where children between the ages of 4 and 11 years gain an introduction to the stories of the Bible through story telling, taking part in activities, singing and prayer. The children learn that they are welcome and respected members of our community and that their contributions to the Church are valued.
Shortly after the 10:15 am Sunday Service commences the children, together with the Sunday School 'teachers' are invited to leave the Church and make their way to the Hall where the Sunday School is held.
Just before the end of the service the children return to the Church where the vicar asks them what they have done that day.
Our Sunday School helps build and strengthen our community, as children from all backgrounds find faith, friendship and fun each week.
*Please note. All our Sunday School 'Teachers' have been checked via the Criminal Records Bureau and cleared to work with children.
